A Message From Our Founder
Growing up in Chicago, I didn’t see a lot of people who looked like me doing the right thing. There weren’t always positive role models or spaces where we felt safe to dream big. And when that’s missing, it’s easy to go down the wrong path.
That’s why I started Chicago Emerging Stars—because I wanted to be what I didn’t have. I wanted to build something where young people could feel seen, supported, and empowered to rise above their circumstances.
This isn’t just an organization. It’s a movement fueled by purpose, love, and the belief that every young person is a star waiting to shine.
