About the Role

The Program Support Intern will assist with the planning, documentation, and evaluation of youth-focused programs. This role is perfect for students interested in education, social work, psychology, youth development, or community engagement.

What You’ll Learn

  • Community-centered nonprofit programming


  • Ethical and safe engagement with youth populations

What You’ll Do (with supervision)

  • Assist with program preparation and logistics


  • Help collect feedback and program data


  • Support documentation of program outcomes and impact


  • Observe and learn from youth-focused programming

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled college student (education, social sciences, or related field preferred)


  • Interest in working with youth and communities


  • Strong organizational and communication skills


  • Commitment to youth safety and confidentiality

Academic Credit & Support

Chicago Emerging Stars is happy to support students seeking college credit for their internship. We will complete required paperwork, provide learning objectives, and participate in evaluations as needed by your institution.
