About the event
Community STARS participants will visit a local Chicago Police Department district station for a guided tour and open conversation centered on community safety, civic responsibility, and youth engagement. Youth will gain a deeper understanding of how public safety systems operate while also sharing their own perspectives and experiences. This experience helps bridge awareness and action, allowing participants to think critically about safety in their communities and how their projects can contribute to meaningful change.
