We are deeply committed to the success of young people, ages 7 to 24, who face challenges in education, career development, and personal growth. Through mentorship, workshops, and community-driven programs, we ensure each individual has the tools, guidance, and support to break down barriers and reach their fullest potential.
We know that the road to success isn’t always straightforward. Obstacles can seem overwhelming. That’s why we focus on offering tailored support for each person. Whether it’s helping students navigate school, offering career coaching, or creating networking opportunities, we are here to guide them every step of the way. Our goal is to build a community where youth are encouraged to pursue their dreams and equipped with everything they need to make those dreams a reality.
The Journey of Empowerment
Founded in 2024 by Jaqueza Thomas, Chicago Emerging Stars was born from a desire to create meaningful, lasting change. Jaqueza, who grew up facing his own set of challenges, understands how powerful support, guidance, and community can be in transforming a young person’s life. His passion for helping others overcome the barriers he faced inspired the creation of this nonprofit.
Growing up in an underserved community, Jaqueza encountered numerous struggles—from limited opportunities to navigating the complexities of youth in challenging environments. Despite these struggles, he held onto the belief that his dreams were achievable. Today, through Chicago Emerging Stars, Jaqueza is on a mission to offer youth in Chicago the same hope and support that helped him rise above. Our work continues to build on this foundation, reaching out to youth across the city and empowering them to dream big and achieve more.
